PIGTAILS!!!

So last night after Mae's bath, me and Cobes were getting her ready for bed and were admiring how long her hair is getting. We decided to try pigtails and Da-da-da! Her hair is LONG enough! She looks soooo dang cute...see for yourself!

....AND THE VERDICT IS....

Well it's the BIG day today (I know you all are just dying suspense) and we are THRILLED to announce....It's a........... GIRL!!!! (poor girl, has no privacy!) So all those of you who voted BOY are WRONG-O...no prize for you (you 5 know who you are)! I know Coby wants a boy at some point (and who doesn't) but he LOVES his girls sooo much and we are soooo excited for this little girl and for Mae to have a sister! Growing up without a sister until my mom remarried years later, I have always wanted my daughter to have a sister and yay---SHE DOES! I have broken the CURSE! Here are some pics of our second little beauty!
Looks like we might have a thumb sucker...

She is shy and didn't want her pic taken...she kept hiding behind her hands...either that, or she is going to grow up to be a boxer!

feetsies

Cute little profile

I LOVE this pic...She has her knees up by her eyes, feet by her head and arms wrapped around her legs...so cute!

This is my first attempt at a movie, so let's hope it works.

So all in all everything with the baby looked perfect and healthy and we are SOOOO grateful for that! The only not so good thing, was that my little placenta problem still has not gone away (shoot!) and the tech wasn't too optimistic that it would at this point with how much it was covering my cervix (sorry to throw that little term in there, but it's the only way I know how to describe it). SO it looks like we will probably still be planning on a c-section, but truly as long as the baby is healthy, I am happy! Now it's the hard part....THE NAME!!! Seriously, we cannot agree on anything!!! If you have any suggestions, please let me know!!!

BIRTHDAY BOY!!!

Well yesterday Coby turned the big 28! To celebrate this momentus occasion, Me and Mae made him breakfast in bed (doesn't he look older...and tired!) and in the evening, we all went to dinner (yes, they do have restaurants here in Vernal) with Coby's parents and then me and Coby let Nana and Papa hang out with Mae so we could go see a movie! We had a great day and I hope Coby did too, after all, you only turn 28 once! I'm so grateful for such a wonderful husband and father to our 1&1/2 kids! We are soooooo lucky to have him and I love him SOOOOOOOOOO much! I think every day how grateful I am things turned out the way they did!Happy Birthday Cobra!

Preliminary results are in, and the outcome is......PINK!!!

Well, I went in today and got a new ultrasound from the hospital. The tech from ultrasound said he is about 70% sure that it is a girl (which I was kinda hoping for) so I am excited! I'm afraid Coby is a little disappointed (which he vehemently denies)...I think he is afraid he will never get a boy...but who knows, it is always possible that when we have our next BIG ultrasound a little something may have "sprouted!" I am truly happy either way as long as it is healthy.... Even though this is my second it was so awesome to see this little baby (that even looked like a baby) up on the ultrasound screen. It was crazy to see it wiggling around and not even be able to feel it yet! Going through pregnancy and childbirth with Mae and now with this new baby has been the biggest affirmation to me that there truly IS a higher power (not that I doubted before) but it is just sooooo amazing--there is NO way that somethign like this could just "happen!"
On another little bummer of a note, on my ultrasound it showed that I have what is called "placenta previa-" which is just a fancy name for my placenta covering my uterus. If it does not go away (which it might...keep your fingers crossed) I will have to have a c-section--poo! Anyways, enjoy the new pics...Scary skull baby...but still cute!
Little profile...I can already tell it (she?) will be a looker! It runs in the family...
Little feetsies-this little piggy....
Peek-a-boo!

Yeah for ultrasounds!!! There is a reason I was born in this time--I'm WAY to impatient to have to wait 9 MONTHS to take a look at this cutie! I LOVE technology...(just go ahead and hum the song to yourself...)

More of the Cruisin' Life...

Here are a few more pics from the cruise...

The Cruisin' Life!

Alright kids...here are the long awaited pics from our cruise to Mexico! We went to Cabo, Mazatlan, and our favorite Puerto Vallarte and had a great time! Real life was a rude awakening (especially since a lot of us came home with the Mexican flu--yuck!)--no one cooking and cleaning for us--how harsh! We took little Mae with us and were amazed at how wonderful she was! No trouble at all and it was so much fun to have her with us! There are a lot, but hey, that's what happens! Well...ENJOY!
All five grandkids...I love this pic: Lily and Mae are freaking out, Brycen is just happy to be there, Jenna is trying to comfort Mae and Ben has that mischevious little grin...how funny!
Our beautiful little girl in her Mexican dress

Mae and the elephant (?)!

Me, Jan and Mae at the Mazatlan Cathedral...let us in!

The truly CRAZY cliff divers in Mazatlan. You can't see from the pic, but they are diving into the ocean surrounded by rocks. They are about 1 foot away from hitting them...seriously insane!

Mazatlan...nevermind how burnt we are!

Mae-Mae loves the camera!

Mazatlan

The van ride, either before or after "Ivan the Great" ran into another car...seriously!
Frankie and the Puerto Vallarte waterfall...We went to this awesome place up in the jungle in Puerto Vallarte with this natural waterslide and it was sooo much fun!

Our zipliners in Puerto Vallarte, Mom, Brycen and Frankie...No prego's allowed here either...:(

Puerot Vallarte...this was the restaurant right by the river and waterfall...It was our favorite place...we LOVED it here!
