Punk Rock Princess!

In contrast to Mae's Tinkerbell costume, we decided Lu would be a punk rocker! I was dying to put some hot pink in that BLONDE hair--and she looked soooooo cute all punked out! I didn't get as many pix of her as I did Mae because she would not cooperate--so I'll take what I can get from our little cutie!!!

Even all punked out--she is still GORGEOUS!!!

Tinkerbell

For Halloween this year, Mae was set on being Tinkerbell! I looked online and all the ones I could find that weren't like $50+ were cheesy and not very cute, so I decided to make it myself! Yay for me! It turned out pretty good (if I say so myself!) and of course, we had to take some Halloween pix of my little pixie! She is getting to that fun stage where she LOVES to have her picture taken and "pose" -- so we had a great time!

Prettiest little Tinkerbell EVER!

A few pix that make me smile...

Walked into our *UNDER CONSTRUCTION* kitchen to find Lu in the crockpot, with her baby, rock-a-byeing! Luckily she stayed in there long enough for me to grab my camera.
Mae just chatting with Grandma on the phone---note her crossed little feet, LOVE it! I can just picture this in 10 years!

My little nerd! She thought she was pretty cute in mom's old glasses--and guess what--SHE IS!!!
OH HOW I LOVE THESE GIRLS!!! WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT THEM?!!

Ogden Visit September 2010

In September me and the girls were lucky enough to get to spend TWO WHOLE WEEKS in Ogden visiting the fam! We had just a GREAT time! Just see for yourself...
Grandma Barbara and the girls in the train at the mall--it's like $4 a person, but to the girls (and maybe Great Grandma) it was worth EVERY penny!

And what trip to the mall would be complete without a stop at the playground??? I think this is literally Mae's favorite place EVER and rapidly topping Lu's list!

Yes, you are seeing that right--that is Great Grandma climbing through the kids tunnel...I myself did not participate like that!

The girls thought that was AWESOME!!!

I LOVE that my girls are reaching the age where they can play together!

Wow-who does this orphan belong to???
I LOVE that smile!

Great Grandma came prepared with plenty of cash (thank you Grandma) so that the girls could ride on the carousel too--and yes, as usual, Mae BAWLED when it was time to get off!

And of course, since we were there for two weeks, you know we had to make a trip to the Zoo!
Ben was in town too and since Mae and him are completely IN LOVE, we took him with us too!

Concentrating soooooo hard on something!
In leu of actual sand, Lu decided to each the woodchips--CRAZY chick!

So pretty... I love the sun in her hair!

Lu was MESMERIZED by a goose--Just look at that expression!
She did NOT want to leave this spot...her and the goose just stared at each other!
Such a ham!

Mae thought this was the coolest thing!

Mae chased the birds around yelling at them for about a half hour trying to feed them her food! I was cracking up!

Lu and her BELOVED bottle...get used to pictures like this--I'm afraid they'll be around for a LONG time...
One of the highlights of the day---ICE CREAM!!! (She is her mother's daughter!)
Me and my girls in our makeshift double stroller!
Happy girl!
And of course, the carousel!
Lu was EXCITED!

Ben and Mae on the train! She HAD to sit by him!

They really are SOOOOOOO in LOVE!!! So cute!

What a sweetie! Seriously, you'd think she couldn't do anything wrong! That face can be soooooo deceiving...

Mae was fascinated by the rolling water globe thing at the entrance!
All in all, we had such a WONDERFUL (as usual) visiting our WONDERFUL family, but after TWO WEEKS it was definitely time to get home to Dadda! We are sooooooo lucky to have such an amazing family and amazing Dadda for sharing us!
