Decisions, decisions...

Hair woes....

So being the "decision-challenged" person that I am, I am reaching out to all you bloggers out there for some advice. Coby is no help-- he just says "do whatever you want." So here's my dilemma: I am in need of a new hair-do'! I have really liked my current do', but having a six month old who is constantly pulling day in and day out at my hair is getting a little old and I am truly saddened by the couple bald spots (seriously) where she has very innocently ripped my hair out...not fun let me tell you! So this is where you come in...These pics (see above) are kinda what I am leaning towards and I am HOPING you can all give me your input on if you think that would work for my EXTREMELY "heart" shaped face... I say "heart-shaped" out of love for myself when really I should say CHUBBY cheeked shaped-face. Do you think this will emphasize my already gargantuous cheekers... and that is exactly what I DO NOT want?!!! So ponder this over if you have the time and get back to me with a verdict! Any help would be appreciated! I'm still working on the color, so as of right now, its just the cut that I'm debating! Oh, and if you have any other ideas (cuts and/or colors), those would be WELCOMED!!! It is very sad that I need this much help....I'm sorry.

Go UTES!

On Saturday the fam had our own little BYU vs U of U showdown! Being the U fans that we are, we are pleased to announce that our Utes delivered! Yay for football!

My cute mom and step-dad Frank-O!
Grandma and grandpa (how cute is this) sporting BOTH colors because they couldn't choose between the two for our BYU cousins sakes!

Grandpa Frankie and his youngest UTE!

Mae looks like she's ready to play football herself...grrrr!

TWILIGHT!!! Oh Edward....

So my good old friends got tickets for "TWILIGHT" on Friday night while I was there, and while I had still been refusing to read the book, how could I turn down a night with the girls, Jme, Linz, Camille and Capri?!!! So, I ventured off to see it and guess what..... I didn't hate it! After watching it and having Jme explain a few things in the movie, it made me curious.... and I caved! I read the first book and here's my verdict on the whole TWILIGHT obcession.... It was okay. It was not life altering and did not change my world as I know it, but after reading the first I want to keep reading them....although I am still NOT IN LOVE WITH EDWARD! (gasp...from all you "Edward Lovers" out there!) Coby has been horrible about the whole thing...I know one day I will find him wearing fangs or something! But I will give it credit...there was one HOT scene! Ooh la, la! All of you who have seen the movie I'm sure will know what I'm talking about!

Thanks to the lady behind us for snapping a pic and catching me in the act!

CLUB....YAY!!!

So this last weekend we were heading out to O-Town and on a whim I decided to kidnap Mae from her Da-Da and head out early...and made it just in time for CLUB!!! I was finally able to go after seeing all the posts from previous months clubs reminding me that I miss my friends. Thanks to our crafty little El-say, we made cute little snowmen (okay, so really El mostly made them for us...but I'm still going to take the credit!) and I truly had a WONDERFUL time with the girls!

Mae got to come to CLUB too and just look how happy she was about it!
The finished product...mine is the one on the end with the extremely long scarf (I trimmed it later...don't worry)

Showing off our creations (and a little leg from Mae)!

Poor Mae, what are we doing to you?!!! So what if we are the only ones who pose with wreaths... we are cool!

Mae, Me, Linz and Michelle

Mae and her "Aunt" Linny

"WORKING" on our snowmen! Where is Lindsay you ask...doing the real work for us! THANKS EL-SAY!!! My snowman woudn't have been near as cute without your expertise!
Club was so fun and I was SOOOO glad to be a part of it!

6 MONTHS OLD!!!

So on November 13th (yes, I'm just posting this now...) our little Mae turned 6 MONTHS OLD!!! I truly cannot believe how fast time has gone by. She is sooo much fun and I cannot remember our lives without her. She was 14 lbs 6 oz. and 25 &3/4 in. long when we went to her doctors appt. More shots....it was very sad, but she made it through! She is now sitting up on her own, rolling over ONLY when SHE wants to, blowing LOTS of raspberries (hence a LOT of slobber) and should be crawling any day now! Here are some recent shots of our girl.

She is thinking very hard....hmmmm....

We LOVE you Mae-Mae!!!

Go THUNDERCATS!!!

For those of you who didn't know (so that is most likely everyone) Coby plays in a rec center basketball league and his team is the Thundercats. Me & Mae being their main supporters were lucky enough to get our own shirts to wear to the games to show the love! Mae loves to watch them run up and down the court. Here's a pic of the #26 family! (Just in case you're wondering #26 is Kyle Korver's number, which Coby chose, so I am not the only one who loves him...)

All Hallows Eve

On Halloween we decked Mae out in her little bag'o'bones constume and ventured out to our wards Truck or Treat, Coby's parents ward and then to his Grandma Angie's house. As you can see Mae was a little unsure about the whole thing. The first truck or treat was was in awe of all the kids running around dressed in their costumes, but by the second one, she was done until she pooped through her costume at Gma Angie's and felt much better at that point. Oh, and bytheway, I was right... A lot of people who didn't know us, took one look at the BEAUTIFUL littel girl donning a HUGE bright green bow and asked about our little "boy"...I could've smacked them!

Me & Coby couldn't let Mae have all the fun! We got our own skeleton shirts to we could be the scariest skeleton family!
Halloween was so much fun this year with our little Mae! I can't wait until next year!
