Shanelle and Adam's Wedding

On September 18th Adam actually got married!!! (can you believe it?!!) We were definitely not going to miss this, so we made the journey up for this momentous event! We got to get all gussied up and the girls looked especially beautiful in their pretty "princess" dresses! We had to document this--I'm pretty sure we've all never been so dressed up in our lives!
Me and Lu just chillin...
It's hard to look so beautiful...
Mae and her favorite person of all time--Bennie Boy! It's a good thing these two aren't blood related! Mae looks soooo big...it makes me a little sad :( It reminds me of her future dance pictures--AHHHH!!!!
Later that night there was dancing--and we even got Dadda out on the floor!
You've heard of group hugs--group dance???

Me and Mae rockin' out!

Lu and Shanelle--Mae just LOVED Shanelle's "princess dress!"
We are soooooo happy for you guys and are so glad we were able to be there to celebrate your special day...You sure know how to throw a party!

BAHAMAS CRUISE 2010!!!

We were lucky enough to celebrate our Christmas with the Coonradt's a little early this year with a BAHAMA CRUISE!!! All of us, and I mean ALL, went... It was total CHAOS with all the kids, but WAY, WAY, WAY fun!!!Coby in his cruisin' hat, exhausted after the red-eye flight and waiting to get in our room...

Not everyone is as tired as Coby...Mae and Kenna in full force!
Ahhhhh, peace...................

short-lived!

1st stop--Freeport
I LOVED that warm, pretty water!
Lu-always happy in sand All the "kids" building sandcastles...
2 little mermaids fashioned by Papa!

Lu crashed after her little "snack" (AKA sand)...
In our 2nd stop, Nasseau, me and Mae got to swim with the dolphins and here we are with "Andy." Mae LOVED it and is still talking about it! Before this pic was taken, we had Mae being the one getting the kiss, but while the photographer was taking his merry sweet time, Andy was still laying it on thick with Mae, and she decided that enough was enough, so I took over...She tole me later that Andy is her "best friend!" How cute! 3rd and final stop- Grand Stirrup Cay (Norweigan's own island)---I want to go back to that water! Our boat- the Norweigan Sky
On the way back to our ship...kisses for momma! (nevermind my gross, salt-crusted hair!)
Dadda and the "Cee monster"--get it?

TIME FOR CLOSE-UPS:

The *HIGHLIGHT* of the trip for the girls was definitely wrestling on the cruise ship bed. I don't know why this was so exciting, but they LOVED it and hence this is the part of the cruise that we have the most pix of. See for yourself:

On our way home Lu and Zai just chillin'...

Our pleasant Miss Mae!

OUR FAMILY PHOTO OP!

We had such a GREAT time! Thanks Nana and Papa!

LUCY is O-N-E!!!

For Lucy's actual b-day, we tried to recreate her special day since she had been so sick...I saved all her presents and wrapped them up again and also saved Grandpa Frankie's special Lucy cake. She had been to the doctor again the day before and on her actual birthday to get antibiotic shots since she wasn't tolerating taking the actual medicine, but was feeling MUCH better! Here are some pix of her actual birthday celebration... A kewpie doll for my kewpie--I have always said she looks like one of those...
k, well maybe not there...silly girl!
I think she likes it!
WOW--more presents!
"YAY!"
Mae's present to Lucy and the card she told or bossed me to write!
Loves for the gingerbread man from Grandma Shirley!
Her new big girl carseat from Nana and Papa--how cute is she thinking she is sooooo big!
and now thinking she is pretty funny!
Grandpa Frankie's recycled cake...
What a CUTIE posing for momma!
Hello there EYES!!!
Eating her birthday cake with a fork--she is a big girl now you know!
We were so glad Lu was able to feel a little better to enjoy her birthday since her luau was no fun for her!

She has been such a blessing to our lives and I cannot believe she is 1!!! It is true how they say it goes by too fast! I know I have said it before, but every time I look at Lu, I think how grateful I am for modern medicine because without it she would not be here and I cannot imagine my life without her! I have loved watching her grow and am looking forward to more of it!
WE LOVE YOU LU!!!
