K so I had some WAY cute pics to post of Baby Mae, but then my camera broke (gay-ness) and I have no way to put them up, so that will have to be delayed til I can get my new camera! Anways, I just thought I would let all of you know (okay, so the few of you know) that we will be making our way to O-Town this coming weekend and I would LOVE to see ALL of you, or ANY of you! Whatever works! We have no plans this time and I really need to see my friends! I am seriously having friend withdrawals! I was telling Coby how I have no friends here in Vernal and miss all you guys soooooo much he said (so sympathetically) "Well, make some!" (Oh, problem solved! Thanks!) That lovely little comment got me thinking and now I've come to the conclusion that I really don't know if I remember HOW to make friends or even if I ever did know how? But, in my defense, I really don't even know where to make friends here in Vernal. When I worked at the hospital I worked in my own little office occupied by Your's Truly and didn't have much social contact. Our ward is full of old people-- or weird people. Don't mean to sound mean, but it's true! So apparently, according to Coby, I should be hitting on girls in the grocery store and begging them to come hang out with me in order to have friends...now there's an idea! Please don't make me resort to that.....PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE SOMEONE HANG OUT WITH ME THIS WEEKEND? It's to the point I'd even consider $paying$ you....

I've Been TAGGED!!!

The Rules:-Link the Person who Tagged you-Mention rules on your blog-Tell about 6 quirks of yours-Tag 6 fellow bloggers to do the same-Leave a comment to let them know.

I TAG Wendee and Amanda (I know that's not 6, but everyone else I know has already been tagged!...I have no more friends...boo!)

My Quirks:1. I'm EXTREMELY scared of my circulation getting cut off. K, I know how dumb that sounds, but truly I am terrified that I will lose the circulation in a limb and then I will lose the limb. I have to wear my rings, bracelets everything really loose because of this very rational fear.
2. I'm "gracefully challenged." Coby says I hurt myself every 30 seconds. Apparently, I should live in a padded room...
3. Speaking of injuries, I find it HILARIOUS when people fall or hurt themselves! Can't help it and probably shouldn't laugh, but seriously, is there anything funnier than that? I even laugh when I injure myself....
4. I'm very, very impatient! I get really annoyed in traffic, waiting in line, waiting for anything. When I was younger my grandma (bless her heart) always used to tell me "Patience is a virtue." I thought she was just talking because that's what my grandma does...little did I know, she was trying to teach me...
5. This sounds mean, but dumb people REALLY bug me! I try to be nice, but seriously some people just are dumb and I want to smack them. (P.S. there are a lot of "those" people here in Vernal)
6. And last, it takes me longer to get ready for bed than it does in the morning. I don't know why and I don't even know what I do, but what feels like 2 minutes to me is actually 45. By the time I make it to bed Coby is already out. I must look pretty hot in bed...

Wet Cement Reunion--ha!

Are they really "All Out of Love?"
I found this pic on Ho's blog and just had to steal it and post it here for all you Wet Cement fans waiting with baited breath at the very thought of a reunion tour. Rumor has it that Tyler, Ben and Coby-formerly Wet Cement- have been seen together (hence this picture) looking very chummy. Does this mean a comeback for the young heart-throbs? Our sources say "No comment!" I guess only time will tell...

Mae's Blessing

So we blessed Mae this last Sunday, August 3rd in our ward here in Vernal and it was such an awesome day! (We will post some pics as soon as we can) We had a lot of family show up to support us and Mae's "da-da" (Coby's word) gave her an AMAZING blessing! I know he was nervous for it, but he loves his little girl soooo much that he didn't even bat an eye- she is so lucky to have a dad like him!
I have been thinking a lot lately about just how blessed I am and I am so grateful! I have the love of my best friend who keeps me laughing all the time and who still manages to take such good care of his girls. We have the cutest, sweetest little girl in the world who is just the funnest thing ever. Me and Coby just sit and watch and play with her all the time and I just can't get over how great being a mom is. We have the most wonderful families and the coolest friends (even though we don't get to see them much) this side of the Mississipi (I've just always wanted to use that expression) and I could not ask for anything better! I see and hear of people doing amazingly different things in their life, but to me there is NOTHING better than what I've got.
I AM ONE HAPPY WOMAN!!!
