Lucy Rae Coonradt

She's here!!! Our little blondie arrived at 7:43am on August 31st weighing 6 lbz 7 0z and 19&3/4in long! Here are some pics of her journey so far!
Leaving for the hospital--4:45 in the AM!
She got a tiny little knick due to the urgency of getting her out of there, but don't worry, no harm done--she is perfect!

Mae's first glimpse at her new baby sis

What a rude awakening!

My first glimpse at our new little girl...don't I look sexy in my hat?!!! We didn't get a pic of both me and Cobes in our getups--darn it! We looked like quite the pair!

Home from the hospital:
First bath at home...we have pics of Mae like this and they look EXACTLY the same except for the hair color--weird!

My girl and her royal paleness...that would be me!

Me and my girls! Mae has been a total angel to her new sister! She loves to give her kisses and make sure she always has a blanket on. She squeals every time she sees her and has just been the BEST big sister EVER!!!

Da-da and his girls!

Thank you all for your support and sweet thoughts! We are soooo grateful to have this little girl here safetly---she is such a blessing to our lives!

She may look like an angel but...

Mae posing in the blessing dress I bought for her baby sis in, needless to say, it is WAY too big!

I wanted some cute pics of me, Mae and the belly...we got ONE before she had a complete and total MELTDOWN!!!

Fun for All at the County Fair!

Last week Cobes took Mae to the Uintah County Fair and someone from the Vernal Express (our newspaper) thought she was as cute as we do! And remember this is Vernal so sitting in a wading pool of corn kernels is considered FUN--and apparently to Mae it was, too!!!

New pics

I've been pretty bad about posting new pics lately, so here is your Mae-Mae fix for the time being...I knew the headband wouldn't last too long so I had to document it. Probably the next time I post some pictures will be when the new baby (who remains nameless as of yet) is here--YAY!!!

Ho this one is for you--- "HUH?"

She is "posing" by the paint can, quite the prop...

She LOVES "baby sister's" room...we may have a problem when she actually has to share it...

This is here- "What, MOM?" (yes, there is attitude already) look...I interrupted her "Yo Gabba-Gabba" session...excuse me!
She is just WAY to cute for her own good!

Happy Birthday America!

Over the 4th, we were lucky enough to head up to Flaming Gorge to meet my family who had gotten a cabin up there--and boy did we have a good time! We partied it up for the Grand U.S. of A. Not only did we hang around the cabin and relax, we also went to the gorge and visitor's center and met Coby's family up at a fair in Dutch John that had a car show and a petting zoo for the kis! The biggest thrill for Mae, however, was the tire swing they had at the cabin. She spent hours outside swinging in that thing--and would've spent more if we have let her. WOW--what a weekend!!!

Mae and her great grandparents snuggling on the swing by the campfire... She is such a lucky girl to have great grandparents like them. Coming from someone (me) who has been VERY fortunate to have my own great grandma be a VERY influential part of my own life (not to mention, being blessed enough to have these two as grandparents), I am soooooo grateful that Mae can have that chance as well!
