A little while ago we decided to brave a trip to the drive-in and take Mae to see "How to Train Your Dragon." She had never been to the drive-in before and only one previous time to the movie theatre--which ended up in us having to leave early, so we didn't really know what to expect but---SHE LOVED IT!!! We had to wait a while before it finally came on and she started to get a little antsy, but once the movie started, she was hooked! It started to get really cold, so we tried to get her to come inside like everyone else, but NOPE!!! She INSISTED (and you know how 2 year-olds insist) on staying outside so we snuggled in a blanket through the majority of it and she was totally enthralled! She still talks about the "Dragon show!" It was DEFINITELY a HIT!!!
